Dispatched for a reported Apartment fire at Lafayette Gardens. FM222-7 Pasqualone arrived on scene and had a 2 story garden style apartment with heavy smoke showing with possible entrapment. Engine 16 arrived on scene and went in service with one 1 3/4 water line and conducted a primary search. Ladder 37 went in service with their main to the roof. Quint 28 checked adjacent apartments for extension. The fire was contained to 1 apartment. All searches were negative.
